Polo Piatti is an award-winning British-Argentine composer and concert pianist, and one of very few high-profile international musicians concentrating exclusively on the creation, performance, and promotion of melodic, universally appealing classical music. 'Entangled’ is a project whereby art photography, video, and original music are deeply “entangled” with each other in several ways. The work consists of twelve original miniatures for Piano Quartet (violin, viola, violoncello, and piano) composed by award-winning British-Argentine composer Polo Piatti interlinked with, and inspired by, twelve images produced by photographer Paul Knight. Each of the compositions illustrates the process, effects, and emotions of the passing of time. The whole work is divided into four main stages representing the seasons in their most intrinsic and non-material qualities, showing the continuous process of growth, development, and final decay both, in nature as well as in life.
